Meanwhile, back at the ranch....

I have emerged from the post-honeymoon/wedding bliss to find myself back at work. I had half hoped/expected that all the project problems would have somehow sorted themselves out when I was out saying my To have and to holds, but apparently not. It turns out there are no project management fairies and I will have to deal with these issues myself. Bummer. 

Kaye and I have officially registered for Sharecon and will drive to Baltimore next Thursday (an ass-numbing 10 hrs, but at least we'll have a car while we're there- taking car pool reservations now, so let me know) . It's sort of coming full circle for us -- we met because of Starsky and Hutch. At Sharecon. The first email I ever sent her was to ask for help with a drabble I was writing. I had just read one of her drabbles (Rumination) and was more than a little awe-struck by it. Her writing still makes me feel that way. I admit to being lured by the bright lights of Supernatural and writing those boys lately, but I'll always love Starsky and Hutch. I was so disappointed when we didn't make it to Vegas last year.

I can't wait to see everyone!
