New babies and other Christmas miracles...

We welcomed our new grandson, Hunter in the world yesterday. He's beautiful, Tina's happy and his father is still a bit stunned. We visited last night and I'm still a bit teary that Tina (who was 3 when she first came to live with me) can be 24 and a mother. We're hoping she'll be home by Christmas.

And Kaye is still confused how she could go from bride to a grandma in 3 months.


In Starsky and Hutch news, despite all the craziness and shopping and baking, I managed to finish an Advent Calendar story for Marion. A Christmas miracle. It's here:

And today I bake - cherry cake, tomato soup cake, plum puddings and lemon shortbread....in my tiny little kitchen. Kaye is on cleanup duty.

And the best part - I don't go back to work until January 4th!!
